Your Ohana Early Identification Program at Catholic Charities Hawai'i - Oahu

The Early Identification Program (EID) provides referral services to connect families prenatally and parents of newborn infants with services and information on healthy child development. These services are free, voluntary and confidential. Mission - To offer pregnant women and new moms access to resources that promote physically and emotionally safe environments, strengthen families, and encourage healthy child development. EID Program meets with designated families prenatally or up to two years following birth, and in Wahiawa up to 4 years of age, to provide resources and support that may include postpartum depression, breastfeeding, childcare information, safe sleep, WIC and housing/shelters. EID Program also assists families with applications to community resources. Families that are eligible are referred to home visiting services.\n\n
