-US citizens and some aliens who are admitted for permanent residency may qualify. -Households must meet specific eligibility requirements and provide proof of their statements about household circumstances. -Most able-bodied adult applicants must meet certain work requirements. -All household members applying must provide a social security number or apply for one. -See https://humanservices.hawaii.gov/bessd/snap/ for SNAP gross income standards and other eligibility criteria.
