(VASH, Travelers Aid of Honolulu) Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii (VASH) shares Aloha with visitors who have been victims of a crime or other adversities, and provides follow-up assistance and support in an effort to create a positive memory of their stay in our islands. The type of assistance provided varies on a case by case basis. Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii offers assistance and support through information and referrals, emergency ground transportation, and resources for meals and lodging. Assistance is also provided with changes to travel plans and emotional support. We do not pay for airline tickets, hotel stays, medical or dental expenses, and funeral expenses.

Referrals accepted by police department, hospitals, security, and visitor industry staff.

Eligibility
Visitors to Hawaii victimized by crime. Visitors who are victims of crime must have a return ticket and be in Hawaii for less than 60 days to qualify for services. Visitors need to file a police report if they are a victim of a crime.
