(HCAP STEM) The Ha Initiative: Creative STEM After-School Program is a free Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) after-school program for youth in grades 2-8. The program provides year-round tutoring, mentorship, and fun STEM activities in a safe after-school setting at five STEM Exploration Center locations on Oʻahu.

Provides after school A+ programs at several elementary schools. Has summer fun and intersession programs. Has fitness equipment and classes, swimming lessons.

(CLAY, Ulu Pono Kids) Ulu Pono, translated as “To Thrive on a Righteous Path,” is our after-school children’s program. We’re passionate about seeing the kids of Hawaii reach their full potential and create a fun environment where learning, doing homework and growing in character are encouraged.

Provides a year around schedule of activities promoting physical, mental and spiritual welfare. Maintains a multi-purpose exercise room, weight room, cardiovascular room, racquetball/handball courts, locker rooms, showers and 25-yard heated pool. Offers child care to members while using facilities. Organizes free family fun night. Operates after school programs at the following schools: Haiku, Kalihi Kai, Kihei, Pomaikai, and Puu Kukui. Offers summer day camp at Maui Family YMCA and Kihei school; kindergarten through 5th graders. Conducts classes in aerobics, cardiac therapy, gym, karate, personal fitness, swimming, water aerobics, weight training, yoga etc. Offers American Red Cross Community Water Safety (CWS) course (not for the public). Provides various classes at various locations on the island. Operates Camp Keanae. Provides child care (3mo-12yrs old) for members while they workout, maximum two hours, parents/guardian must be on same premises as child.

(ASAS Hawaii) After-School All-Stars Hawaii provides free comprehensive after-school programs at 13 schools on Oahu and Hawaii Island. They include: Oahu - Jarrett Middle - Kalakaua Middle - Keelikolani Middle - King Intermediate - Nanakuli High and Intermediate - Waialua High and Intermediate - Waianae Intermediate - Washington Middle Hawaii Island - Keaau Middle - Konawaena Middle - Pahoa High and Intermediate - Waiakea Intermediate - Waikoloa Elementary and Middle Sites offer programs for grades 6 - 8 depending on the location.
