MADD Hawaii provides: Free and confidential support services to injured victims and to families and close friends of those who have been killed, Range of free brochures, books on grief, and other literature, Court accompaniment and criminal justice system navigation, An annual candlelight vigil of hope and remembrance held during the holiday season, The possibility of serving on a “Victim Impact Panel” where victims share their stories with people who have been arrested for DUI. MADD Hawaii works closely with the Victim Witness Assistance Division of the Prosecutor's office, with youth programs and young teens in the prevention of underage drinking. Call for support groups for victims of impaired driving and homicide.

(Friends of the Childrens Justice Center - East Hawaii) Helps child victims of abuse ages birth-18 years to gain self-esteem and develop positive self-worth, by filling requests for items and services not available from any other source.

(YWCA of Kauai Sexual Assault Treatment Program) Offers confidential crisis intervention counseling and support services for rape victims. Will accompany victims to hospital for examination, or to police for reporting, and to court if prosecution takes place. Provides speakers to schools and organizations, public education on sexual assault and harassment. Offers counseling and support services for children who have been sexually abused or molested by non-family members. Provides confidential group and individual counseling for adults molested as children.

VASH provides supportive services to meet the immediate and urgent needs of visitors to Hawaii Island who are victimized by crime, have medical emergencies, or suffer other adversities during their stay. Immediate needs may include assistance with canceling credit cards, providing emergency transportation, or garnering resources (soliciting donations) for food and lodging. VASH relies heavily on donations and community support. When needed resources are not readily available, we will make requests and network with other agencies to try and meet needs.

(Friends of the Childrens Justice Center - Maui) Provides a safe, neutral place for child abuse investigations by trained Police Detectives and Department of Human Services Social Workers who are specialists in child abuse. Provides training for professionals in conducting effective multidisciplinary investigations that are child-focused. Tracks all reports of child sex abuse. Facilitates coordination of civil and criminal multidisciplinary meetings.

Supports children who have been physically or sexually abused, or severely neglected. Funding is provided through foundation grants and private/business donations. The "Enhancements" include such needs as medical, dental, glasses, travel, sports fees, school graduation packages, classes in hula, ukulele, karate, as well as summer school or correspondence school courses, therapy and counseling, air fare so youth can participate in inter-island cultural and sports events, and orthodontia (braces). Also sponsors public education and community awareness activities and materials to help prevent child abuse in the community, as well as inform children and adults how to report or respond to a report of child abuse.
