The Community Clearinghouse operates a warehouse of free necessities, such as food, clothing, furniture and basic household items.
The Community Clearinghouse receives donations of furniture, household items and clothing from the public and distributes these items to low-income and homeless individuals for free.
To receive assistance, an individual or family must be referred directly to the Community Clearinghouse by a social worker or case manager from an eligible community partner agency/entity. If you do not have an agency to refer you, call us at (808) 536-7234 ext. 800. A one-time, emergency walk-in service is available, and Community Clearinghouse staff will work to link consumers with a partner agency for continued assistance/access.
The Community Clearinghouse does not accept donations of car seats, strollers, medical equipment, exercise equipment, pianos/musical equipment, computers/laptops, or items that are in disrepair and are no longer in usable condition. Items are given to consumers as-is so they must be in gently used, working condition.
Clothing donations are not being accepted at this time.
